Locate the reason for washing
Explain whether the wash point serves a toilet area, staff activity or another part of the site. A station beside the restroom bank may not answer a separate need elsewhere on the property.
Discuss the offered model, basin arrangement and water provisions. Do not assume an image establishes capacity, operating features or suitability for every activity.
Allocate supplies and checks
Ask who provides water, soap and drying materials and which replenishment tasks are included in the agreement. The organiser needs a way to notice and report a shortage between scheduled visits.
Describe peak use and the period the station remains on site. A short but busy gathering can create different demands from a lightly used ongoing work area.
Coordinate the station with its surroundings
Review the approach and surrounding space for the people who will use it. Keep the proposed position compatible with permitted equipment placement and the route needed for servicing.
If a specialist activity has hygiene requirements, obtain the appropriate current guidance for that activity. Renting a general portable wash station should not be represented as automatic approval of a food operation, medical process or regulated workplace setup.
