Record the site instructions plainly
Include the address, designated equipment entrance, receiving period and contact responsible on arrival. Explain any distinction between the office location and the actual work compound.
Describe the intended equipment position and the property’s approval for it. If another trade controls access or the layout changes by phase, identify that dependency before delivery is agreed.
Connect the equipment to the workforce
Provide the busiest shift pattern and explain whether visitors or other contractors share the units. Ask about quantities, washing and any access-related needs rather than specifying only a rental duration.
Agree who checks supplies, reports conditions and communicates a demand change. Leaving these tasks to an unspecified site team can make a simple concern harder to resolve.
Plan the handover between project phases
Review the facilities when boundaries, trades or working hours change. Discuss any relocation with the provider instead of moving equipment into a convenient-looking new corner.
Name the person authorised to extend or end the rental. A completion notice, collection request and accessible removal route should work together so the equipment does not remain after the site contact has left.
